Today was a day for peppermint tea.
I grabbed some of the fresh peppermint from my patio, and a few sprigs of stevia to add to a quart-sized canning jar. I filled it with hot water, but realized I wanted something a little more.
Usually, I add lemon balm, but I don’t have any right now. The lemons I just bought are already looking peaked.
So I turned to Lemon Vitality oil from Young Living.
This is so good! I put three drops in my tea (because I like lemon) and man did it hit the spot! Lemon Vitality can add a bright, dynamic flavor to many dishes. I really like to use it in a butter sauce for fish, but it is also good in icing, cakes and drinks. Most people will prefer just a drop. Test it out, one drop at a time, to see how much you prefer.
Added bonus? I don’t have to zest or juice the lemons – if I am lucky enough to find quality lemons to use.1
